Meet Jenny Oliver
Artist. Educator. Mentor. Helping artists build confidence, master fine line tattooing and create a business they love.
PMU + FINE LINE ARTIST · EDUCATOR · FOUNDER OF TINY TATU · 12+ YEARS EXPERIENCE
I’ve spent more than 12 years mastering my craft, building businesses, training artists and evolving with an industry that never stands still.

My journey began in my twenties after graduating from Pinewood Film Studios and training with renowned industry educator Wilma Dunn. What started as a career in beauty went on to become something far bigger — a career built around artistry, education and helping other women create opportunities for themselves.
I went on to establish myself in Permanent Makeup, working with thousands of clients and specialising in the precision, skin knowledge and technical skills that would eventually become the perfect foundation for my next chapter: Fine Line Tattooing.
When I made the move from PMU into Fine Line, I immediately saw the potential — not only creatively, but for artists already working within the beauty and PMU industries. They had so many valuable skills already, yet there was very little education showing them how to properly translate those skills into body tattooing.
Tiny Tatu was created to change that.
Today, I’ve trained thousands of students, from complete beginners starting an entirely new career to established PMU artists ready to diversify, increase their earning potential and add Fine Line Tattooing to their businesses.
But my training has never been about simply watching me tattoo and copying what I do.
I teach the WHY behind the technique.
Why a line heals beautifully — and why another doesn’t.
Why needle choice matters.
Why hand speed and machine speed have to work together.
Why depth, stretch, positioning and skin type can completely change your result.
Because when you understand why, you stop relying on guesswork — and that’s when real confidence starts to develop.
Over the years, my work and education have received multiple industry awards and recognition, and I’m incredibly proud of those achievements. But nothing compares to watching a student arrive unsure of herself and later seeing her produce work she once thought was completely beyond her ability.
That will always be the part of education I love most.
Today, Tiny Tatu Education brings together everything I’ve learned through years of working on real skin, teaching real students and continually refining my own techniques — through private in-person training, specialist PMU-to-Fine-Line education and accessible online programmes for artists around the world.
And despite everything the business has grown into, you’ll still find me doing what I’ve always loved most — working from my private studio, creating, experimenting, learning and passing that knowledge on.
Outside the studio, life is considerably less glamorous. I’m usually with my family — and whenever I get the chance, you’ll find me hunting down somewhere fabulous for sushi and a cocktail.
Artist. Educator. Business owner. Mum. And a not-so-secret foodie.
Tiny Tatu was born from something I kept seeing again and again — talented artists wanting to move into Fine Line Tattooing, but struggling to find education that went beyond simply showing them how to tattoo a design.
I wanted to create the kind of training I believe artists actually need: education that explains why a technique works, what happens when it doesn’t, and how to make confident decisions when working with real skin.
From complete beginners taking their first steps into tattooing to experienced PMU artists adapting skills they already have, my goal is the same — to make high-quality Fine Line Tattoo education clear, practical and achievable.
Tiny Tatu has grown into far more than a training course. It’s an education platform built around real techniques, real experience and continued learning — giving artists access to in-person training, online programmes, specialist masterclasses and professional resources as their skills develop.
Because great artists aren’t created by simply copying a technique. They’re created by understanding it.
When I’m not tattooing, teaching or creating something new for Tiny Tatu, I’m simply Jenny.
Family is a huge part of my life, and when I’m away from the studio you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband and the kids.

I’m also a self-confessed foodie — give me a great Japanese restaurant, sushi and a fancy cocktail and I’m very happy! And despite spending so much of my working life being creative, I’m always looking for the next idea, design or technique to experiment with.
Building Tiny Tatu has allowed me to combine so many things I genuinely love — creativity, education, business and helping other artists realise what they’re capable of.
And although the academy has grown enormously, I never want it to lose the personal side. Whether you train with me face-to-face or learn through one of my online programmes, there’s a real person behind Tiny Tatu who genuinely cares about the quality of the education you receive.
